Winter Weather

Another winter solstice is upon us!

Today's high was a balmy 31 degrees. Felt like a heat wave!

LOL! Sort of a respite from all that snow

Here .... currently about 44 degrees, was a little higher earlier ... DM, do you think all that snow is heading Herman's way finally?

Supposed to have a high of 44 today. High 30's tomorrow and Saturday. They're now calling for rain and a possible thunderstorm or two on Christmas (WONNNNDERFUL! <-sarcasm).

Hmmmmm ... here, they are calling for a high of 55, and tomorrow 48 with 100% chance of rain, Saturday no more than a 10% chance but mostly cloudy and overcast.

Rusty, I heard that sarcasm all the way out here btw

1-C, Lol!.. My daughter and wife always wish for at least a couple inches of snow for Christmas.. This year they'll have to settle for just the presents and good eats.

LOL! Well, something tells me that snow they wanted may have been delivered a bit early ;) . All my family (Sibs and their families) out here have gotten used to just presents and goodies (around the tree). Hasn't snowed at my elevation in many years ... and even then that was a rare event. Of course as kids growing up we'd take a trip up to the Sierra Nevada mountains and toboggan and throw snowballs at each other.

Well, hopefully the weather forecast is correct and we'll have partly cloudy skies with sun peeking through for tomorrow and Christmas Day. Today ... rain and lots of it . But nonetheless ... hope you and your family also have a very Merry Christmas too, Rusty (and yep, that also is extended to all the rest of our little family here in auxland) :-D
