We are all familiar with the "You have been approved for a loan" phone scams. Here is a new take on that!

"It's OK, Honey. At first, I thought it was an obnoxious telemarketer, but it is only my husband."

Maybe you wondered what the call center employees do, between calls, or maybe while listening to a long reply by the potential scammee.

Well, my supersecret spy system and automated pancake flipper can now reveal the answer:

Looks like there is quite a bit of truth here - particularly when there are apps to reduce or limit telespam... but the phone owners do not know how to find or install them

We have heard the old saying, "His eyes were bigger than his stomach", when referring to somebody who could not finish a meal. How about "His phone was bigger than his pocket"?

Well, Black Friday is over, and we know some folks were injured in the rush. This might turn into the next phone scam:

Looks like the scammers are calling Dagwood, as well ... or, maybe somebody spoofed his number!
