Those of us old enough to be members of aarp are not ALL washed up in the eyeball department. I resisted changing my resolution from 2560 × 1440 but it was getting tougher to see over time. Now at 1440 x 900. However, I suspect getting bifocals helped more than I believe in that regard.

Do I suddenly sense that we're the bifocal bunch here?
Haven't yet had to change the resolution on my monitor yet
... but probably may at least have to consider it some time in the future.

I joined that club about a year ago - I fought it for several years prior though!

I'm way ahead of you then ... been there since I was 12!
Didn't have the ability to fight it though. But as a kid then once I first wore them I exclaimed "Wow! Everything looks new!"

I've been a member of the bifocal bunch for about four years now

My opthamologist first tried to get me to join that club a few years back. I practically yelled at him and took great umbrage to his suggestion! I actually bought some reading glasses a couple of years ago but refuse to use them. I'm ok - FOR NOW anyway!

Good idea Yef. Bifocals are very expensive. I got new, no line bifocal lenses a few days ago. Total cost AFTER insurance was just under $200!
